On July 25, 2014 EA announced a brand new subscription service, EA Access, exclusively for Xbox One users. Just 5 dollars a month will give players access to EA’s The Vault, and a discount on new EA titles to be released in the future. This is the first digital access arrangement of its kind and it promises to offer an extensive library.
Subscribers will have the choice to access the Vault at a yearly cost of $29.99, or the monthly fee of $4.99.
Once the beta has launched, four games will be available to subscribers: FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2, and Battlefield 4. Although no other games have been officially declared, EA’s official site promised that there will be more to come in future announcements.
